Hair of the Dog

Ever been a bit jealous of your canine-friends big fluffy coat? Wish you had one? Can't say I have but these people have found a way!

Behold some portraits of people wearing clothes knitted from the hair of their dogs...

Much better than wearing your deceased pet's skin as a fur coat, but still, mildly weird.

No dogs were harmed in the making of these clothes. All you do is collect the hair after you brush them, carefully pack it up and send it away to be spun into wool.

Want to try it yourself? There is even a book dedicated to the subject.

  1. OMG!! That is sooo cool. I'm going to brush Tinker every day and collect her fur for a cardigan. Maybe it can be a mix of hers and Princess' fur!
