Embroider this!

One of the awesome presents I got for my birthday was the Sublime Stitching Craft Pad from my bro. I couldn't wait to try out some of the designs, and after a few weeks of playing around and also a bit of "borrowing" a friends iron, I managed to transfer one of the bigger patterns.

Because I plan to keep it on the hoop and hang it on the wall I had to reappropriate the swirls at the top so they fit onto the sides. I think it turned out pretty ok.


And it was so fast! I have some bad memories of abandoned projects and pierced finger tips from when I was little, but this went very smoothly.

Now that I have experimented a bit I think I am going to move on to some pillowcases.
